Notice to creators and publishers
For bloggers, website owners and Instagram, TikTok and YouTube creators who may appear in Prospen results.
Who we are
Prospen helps businesses find affiliates. A business tells us what it sells, and we search the web and social media for websites and creators who might promote it, then show the business why each one may be a good fit.
What we collect about you
Only public business information:
- your website or profile address;
- your public bio and public posts;
- follower and engagement figures;
- a business email you list publicly;
- the topics you cover.
It comes from your public website or profile, from search engines, and from public creator databases. We never collect private messages, passwords or personal home addresses.
Why
So that a business can judge whether to propose an affiliate partnership to you. Our legal basis is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR): a business looking for partners, and you being offered work that fits what you already publish. We keep to what that needs.
Who sees it
The Prospen customer whose search found you, and us. We do not sell it or publish it.
What the business may do
It may email you, or send you an Instagram or TikTok message, but only after a person at that business has approved the message. It is sent from the business’s own mailbox or account, not from Prospen. Emails carry an unsubscribe link, and you can always reply to say no. A reply ends that email sequence.
How to opt out
Email hello@tasken.ai from the address in question, or tell us the website or profile you want excluded and message us from that account so we can tell it is yours. Within 5 business days we record your objection, exclude your website or profile from future results for every Prospen customer, and block outreach to you through Prospen.
Unsubscribing from one business’s email adds you to that business’s own never-email list. That list is separate and belongs to the business; to stop hearing from every Prospen customer, write to us as above.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to our using it. We act within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection supervisory authority.
