Privacy Policy
Plain English, and short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will fix the wording.
What we collect
- Account data. The email address you sign up with, and your password in hashed form.
- Profile data. The store or company URL you give us, what you sell, your categories, price range, markets, competitors and partner goals. You type this, or you confirm what we drafted from your public website.
- Usage data. The runs you start, the partners delivered, and what you approved or rejected, so the product can improve your next run and we can bill correctly.
- Anything you send us. Emails and contact-form messages.
We do not ask for card details on the free plan, and we never ask for the passwords of your other tools.
Why we collect it
To run the service you asked for: to find and verify partners against your profile, to keep your account and your history, to answer you, and to charge the right amount. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to target advertising.
Partner information
Prospen searches public sources and returns business information about potential partners, such as a company, a website, a public business contact or an application page. That information is collected from public sources for a legitimate business purpose. If you are a business that would rather not appear in Prospen results, write to us and we will record that.
Who processes it
- Hosting. Vercel Inc. hosts the application and serves this site.
- Search and verification providers. To find and check partners we query third-party providers of public web, social, map and marketplace data. They receive the query, not your account details.
- Analytics. None at present. If we add product analytics we will say so here before it starts.
How long we keep it
Account and profile data for as long as your account exists, and up to 90 days after you delete it so the deletion can be reversed if you ask. Records we must keep for tax or accounting reasons are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Write to hello@tasken.ai and we will act within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies
Session cookies and local browser storage only, used to keep you signed in and to remember where you were in setup. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why this site has no cookie banner.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will change the effective date above and tell account holders by email.
